Leland native Owen Spencer catches five passes in Wolfpack's win     (9/6/2008)

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Leland native Owen Spencer caught five passes for 82 yards in the N.C. State Wolfpack’s win over William & Mary tonight in Raleigh.  Spencer’s catches included a 22-yard reception from Harrison Beck late in the second quarter.

Leland Business Association raises money for D.A.R.E. program     (8/28/2008)

LELAND, N.C. - The Leland Business Association held its first-ever reverse raffle on Aug. 15 at the Arab Shrine Club.  The event was held to raise money for the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program (D.A.R.E.) in the Leland area.
