LELAND, N.C. – The North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce recently elected new officers and six new board members, all of whom will take office July 1. The officers were elected by the Board of Directors at its June 1 meeting, while the new board members were elected in May by the Chamber’s general membership. Five of the new board members were elected to three-year terms, and the sixth was elected to an unexpired two-year term.
The new officers are:
· President: George Murray of Murray Art & Frame;
· Vice President: Bruce Brown of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty;
· Secretary: Dana Fisher of Bradford Mortgage; and
· Treasurer: Sheila Hanby of Capeside Animal Hospital.
The new board members are:
· Donna Cameron of SunTrust and Asset Storage;
· Dana Fisher of Bradford Mortgage;
· Mike Leggett of The Local News & Review;
· Jay Merritt of Victory Free Will Baptist Church;
· Franklin Rouse of State Farm Insurance (elected to two-year term); and
· Frank Williams of Pioneer Strategies.
